Senior Substation Site Civil Engineer
Job Description:
- perform design reviews on a regular basis
- develop junior staff members
- contribute to bids and proposal development
- take a responsible engineer role on main client projects
- oversee the work and ensure quality control on design packages
- site-visits to client substation facilities
- occasional travel for client meetings and industry related events
Requirements:
- B.S. degree in Civil Engineering
- 4+ years of directly applicable civil-site design experience
- Experience with Greenfield/Brownfield Substation Design and BESS Stations (preferred)
- EI/EIT certification (preferred)
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D software and/or MicroStation OpenSite Designer software
- Experience with Hydraflow, ICPR, or various other hydrologic and hydraulic modeling & design programs
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Acrobat, Bluebeam, and other general software tools
- Strong analytical and technical writing skills
- Team player with ability to communicate effectively with clients and staff
- Able to execute projects and handle clients successfully with limited supervision
- Willing to travel, up to 25%
- Authorized to work in U.S.
