This role requires deep expertise in AWS, infrastructure as code, and modern DevOps practices, along with a solid understanding of backend technologies.You will play a critical role in automating deployments, improving system reliability, and enabling engineering teams to deliver high-quality software efficiently.Required Skills & Experience5+ years of experience with software development. Strong hands-on experience with AWS (compute, networking, storage, IAM)Experience building CI/CD pipelines using:Bitbucket PipelinesGitHub ActionsSolid understanding of backend technologies such as:PythonJava Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration conceptsExperience with monitoring and observability toolsFamiliarity with Git workflows and version control best practicesNice to Have SkillsJavaScript / TypeScript (nice to have)Familiarity Terraform for infrastructure provisioningExperience with Kubernetes or container orchestration platformsKnowledge of serverless architectures on AWSFamiliarity with security and compliance standardsExperience with multi-environment (dev/staging/prod) strategiesExposure to performance tuning and load testingSoft SkillsStrong problem-solving and analytical thinkingExcellent communication and cross-team collaboration skillsAbility to work independently and take ownership of systemsLeadership and mentorship mindset
