Responsibilities

As a Remote Sales Assistant/ Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Preparing, planning, and executing travel sales, including airline, car rental, cruises, hotels, tickets/events, and activities
  • Processing payments on behalf of clients
  • Providing all necessary documents to clients before and after travel
  • Delivering exceptional customer service to clients, responding to their inquiries, and resolving any issues that may arise
  • Maintaining relationships with travel partners and vendors, ensuring that our clients receive the best possible service
  • Working well in a group/team setting, collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals
  • Staying up-to-date on the travel industry and policies, ensuring that our clients receive the most accurate and relevant information
  • Completing required certification within a timely manner
  • Participating in ongoing training with our company and travel partners, staying ahead of the curve in terms of industry trends and best practices

Skills and Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • To be at least 18 years of age and a resident of the United States
  • A smartphone and/or computer with reliable internet access
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and travel partners
  • The ability to make travel and event recommendations based on clients' interests
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with attention to accuracy and detail
  • Verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling travel itineraries and respond to client inquiries
  • Computer and internet knowledge, with experience using software applications and online platforms
  • Personal travel experience is not required, but will be considered an advantage
