Area Sales OfficerArea Sales OfficerJob Summary** The Area Sales Officer at Piramal Pharma Limited will be responsible for achieving sales targets and expanding market share within a designated geographical area. This role involves building strong customer relationships, promoting pharmaceutical products, and implementing sales strategies to drive revenue growth. Job Responsibilities** * Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, including doctors, pharmacists, and hospital administrators.
  • Effectively communicate product features, benefits, and clinical data to potential and existing customers.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base within the assigned territory.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies.
  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and expense reports.
  • Organize and participate in medical conferences, product launches, and other promotional activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with marketing and medical teams to optimize product positioning and promotional efforts.

Job Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical market, product knowledge, and industry regulations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and establish trust with healthcare professionals.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and develop effective sales strategies.
  • Fluency in English and the local language(s) of the assigned region.
