Korean Translation Reviewer & Proofreader (Freelance)
MassMutual Atlantic is seeking a meticulous and experienced Korean Translation Reviewer & Proofreader to join our team on a flexible, part-time basis. This role is designed for a high-level linguist who specializes in ensuring accuracy, cultural nuance, and professional tone for sophisticated financial and corporate communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Quality Assurance: Conduct final reviews and deep proofreading of translated materials (English to Korean and vice versa).
- Nuance & Context: Ensure all translations maintain a professional, authoritative tone suitable for the wealth management and financial services industry.
- Consistency: Verify that terminology remains consistent across all corporate documents, marketing materials, and internal communications.
- Cultural Alignment: Adapt content to ensure it resonates specifically with Korean-American professionals and high-net-worth audiences.
Required Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with a proven track record of excellence in the translation industry.
- Corporate Experience: Significant experience translating or reviewing for large, multinational corporations or major financial institutions.
- Linguistic Mastery: Native-level fluency in both Korean and English, with a sharp eye for grammar, syntax, and stylistic flow.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with financial, legal, or wealth management terminology is highly preferred.
- Professionalism: Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and meet deadlines during peak workload periods.
