Technical SEO Specialist: Pre-Launch Baseline, Migration & 30-Day Post-Launch Monitoring

We’re rebuilding BetterWealth.com and launching the new site in approximately 30 days. We’re looking for a highly skilled Technical SEO Specialist with proven hands-on experience managing full website migrations from pre-launch through post-launch monitoring. Before launch, we need to capture a full performance baseline (organic traffic, rankings, top landing pages, keywords, backlinks, technical health, Core Web Vitals, and organic conversion data) so we have measurable benchmarks to compare against after launch. This project includes building a complete 301 redirect map for all existing URLs, validating technical SEO elements on the staging site (XML sitemaps, robots.txt, canonicals, schema markup, GA4, Search Console, indexing readiness), launch-day verification, and 30 days of post-launch monitoring to identify and resolve traffic, ranking, redirect, or indexation issues. Required skills include advanced Technical SEO, site migration execution, GA4, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs and/or Semrush, redirect mapping, schema validation, Core Web Vitals analysis, crawl/indexation management, and strong understanding of site architecture and SEO preservation during migrations. Experience with content-heavy sites and AI search visibility tracking (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews) is a strong plus. This is a one-time project hire, not a retainer—we need someone who can execute, communicate directly, and own the process end-to-end. Scope of work 1. Pre-launch baseline capture. Pull and document our current performance in a single spreadsheet I can keep. Includes:

• Organic traffic, rankings, top landing pages, top keywords (Search Console + GA4)
• Backlink profile, Domain Rating, referring domains, anchor text (Ahrefs or Semrush)
• Technical health snapshot (status codes, indexed pages, Core Web Vitals)
• Conversion baseline from organic traffic (GA4)
• Run 15 specific AI search queries on ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Google AI

Overviews and document who gets cited (I’ll provide the query list) 2. Build the redirect map. Map every URL on the current site to its equivalent on the new site. 301 redirects for everything. Deliverable is a spreadsheet handed to my developer to implement. 3. Pre-launch technical checklist on the new site (in staging). Verify XML sitemap, robots.txt, canonicals, GA4 + Search Console properly installed and verified, Core Web Vitals tested, schema markup validates in Google’s Rich Results Test (my developer is implementing the schema, you’re verifying it works). 4. Launch day support. Available the day of launch to verify redirects fire correctly and indexation begins cleanly. 5. 30 days post-launch monitoring. Track rankings, traffic, and indexation. Catch and fix any redirect issues or indexation problems. Final deliverable is a 30-day report comparing post-launch numbers to the pre-launch baseline. What I’m looking for

• Hands-on migration experience (not just audit experience)
• Examples of past site migrations you’ve executed, ideally for content-heavy sites
• Familiarity with Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs or Semrush, Screaming Frog
• US-based or able to work US business hours, since launch day support matters
• Direct communication style. I don’t need polished decks. I need the work done.
