About the Job Ecorobotix Inc. creates innovative robotic solutions that reduce the negative ecological impact of modern agriculture. We have developed an AI-based ultra-high precision spot spraying technology that drastically reduces the amount of chemicals used in crop fields while keeping costs competitive. The technology is currently deployed on our tractor-towed ARA machine. General Objective of the Role As a member of the Ecorobotix Inc. team, the After-Sales Engineer must be self-motivated with a preferred bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent. The primary goal is he or she will become the strategic communication point between dealers and Ecorobotix Inc. You will be relied upon to give field feedback and exercise discretion and independent judgment directly related to the after-sales management of our dealer network. Reporting Lines & Interactions This role reports directly to the Sales Manager. Internally, close collaboration with other members of the after-sales team and other teams of Ecorobotix Inc is required. Externally, interaction with dealers, farmers, partners, associations, trade shows, Agronomist and CCA’s among others may be required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver a world-class after-sales support experience to our dealers by providing training and development and professional answers to technical questions.
  • Develop and manage long-lasting relationships with dealers and end users.
  • Ensure diagnosis and technical support over diverse areas of expertise: control software, hardware, mechanics, and field applications.
  • Manage dealer warranty claims to uphold overall satisfaction.
  • Collaborate internally with other departments of Ecorobotix Inc. to ensure continuous improvement of our products, services, and workflows.
  • Assist in creating support and troubleshooting technical documentation for both internal and external use.
  • Continuous learning on products evolution and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Available to travel domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, or Automation is ideal as well
  • Three or more years of proven hands-on experience in agricultural product support at the dealer and/or OE level.
  • Must have a clean driving record.
  • Must have a passport for international travel.
  • Spanish speaking is a plus

Experience/Skills

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • High degree of independence, reliability, and a spirit of initiative.
  • Dedicated person with systematic, goal-oriented working methods.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Bash scripting and git workflow experience is essential.
  • Proficient in Linux and Python.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in C++ and Java are a plus.
  • Curious and analytical with all things electronics and mechanics.
  • Sensitive to environmental issues and green technologies with a strong interest in innovative machines.
