Financial Analyst - KAS Dynamic Bench Professional

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in buy-side and sell-side transaction advisory engagements, providing financial and business due diligence assistance to Fortune 1000 and middle market companies and private equity investors
  • Interface with senior executives of clients and target companies
  • Analyze and synthesize target company data to identify historical and projected financial and operating trends, quality of earnings and working capital considerations and potential liabilities and risks which impact valuation and negotiation of the target company
  • Create and design tailored transaction advisory reports specific to key issues such as normalized earnings, valuation model input assumptions, achievability of management's budget, indebtedness considerations, borrowing base calculations and/or business combinations and carve-out financial statements
  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold the firm's respectful and courteous work environment

Qualifications:

  • Minimum six months of recent experience in Accounting or Financial Analysis
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance from an accredited college/university; licensed CPA/equivalent certification is preferred
  • Strong current knowledge in one of the following: mergers and acquisitions, financial analyses on profitability of the company, excel functionalities, and United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid command of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Must be able to be onsite at least 3 days a week in NYC
