Senior Real Estate Paralegal - Commercial Transactions

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Real Estate Paralegal to join their sophisticated legal department. This role is fully remote, allowing you to work from your preferred location while supporting critical commercial real estate transactions. You will be instrumental in assisting attorneys with all aspects of real estate law, including drafting, reviewing, and managing transactional documents, conducting due diligence, and coordinating closings. The ideal candidate possesses meticulous attention to detail, a strong understanding of real estate principles, and excellent organizational abilities. Key Responsibilities: Assist attorneys in the preparation, review, and negotiation of real estate contracts, leases, deeds, and other transactional documents. Conduct comprehensive title searches and review title insurance commitments and surveys. Organize and manage closing binders and coordinate the closing process for complex commercial transactions. Perform due diligence investigations, including reviewing zoning, permits, environmental reports, and corporate records. Maintain organized electronic and physical files for all real estate matters. Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, title companies, and other third parties. Assist with post-closing matters, including recording documents and distributing closing funds. Research legal requirements and prepare summaries for attorneys. Support attorneys in litigation matters related to real estate, as needed. Track deadlines and manage the workflow for multiple concurrent transactions. Stay current with legal developments affecting real estate law. Qualifications: Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in a related field, or completion of a Paralegal certification program. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal, with a significant focus on commercial real estate transactions. Strong understanding of real estate principles, title insurance, surveys, and closing procedures. Proficiency in drafting and reviewing various real estate legal documents. Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with legal research tools and standard office software. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet strict deadlines. Experience with commercial leasing and financing is highly desirable. Team-oriented with a professional demeanor.
