Job Description

We are looking for a creative and passionate UI Artist (Middle+ level) to join the team working on DISNEY DREAMLIGHT VALLEY. Rich with quests, exploration, and engaging activities featuring iconic Disney and Pixar friends, Disney Dreamlight Valley is designed by a passionate team just waiting for you to join them! Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce high-quality UI art assets (icons, screens, mockups) aligned with project style and design requirements.
  • Develop creative and effective ways to visually communicate game information to the player.
  • Design, create, and implement UI screens of various complexities to ensure an optimal user experience.
  • Create supporting assets such as icons, motion graphics, and banners that maintain visual consistency.
  • Collaborate closely with Design, Art, Audio, and Engineering teams under the guidance of the Lead UI Artist to bring UI features to life.
  • Contribute ideas to improve clarity, readability, and overall appeal of the UI while following established artistic direction.

Qualifications

  • High-quality portfolio of gamedev-relevant UI art
  • Proficiency with 2D software packages (Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Solid grasp of typography, color theory, graphic design, and grid-based layout systems.
  • Solid knowledge of UX design principles and user-centered design, with the ability and motivation to grow further in this area
  • Upper intermediate level of English
  • Awareness of current UI trends and ability to adapt them to project needs

Will be a plus

  • Basic experience with 3D software (3ds Max, Maya, Blender)
  • Experience with 2D animation and motion graphics, and understanding of how motion enhances user experience (After Effects) or willingness to learn.
  • Familiarity with game engines (Unity).
