The University of North Carolina at Charlotte is currently seeking a Part-Time Adjunct Faculty member to teach courses in Leader Development within our I/O Psychology program. As a part-time faculty member, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the next generation of leaders while also furthering your own professional development. If you possess a strong theoretical understanding of I/O psychology and have experience in the field of leader development, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. Develop and teach courses on leader development within the I/O Psychology program at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Utilize your strong background in industrial and organizational psychology to create engaging and informative course material. Provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to become effective leaders in their future careers. Foster a dynamic and collaborative learning environment where students can thrive. Assess and evaluate student learning through assignments, exams, and other forms of assessment. Stay current with the latest research and advancements in the field of leader development and incorporate them into course material. Mentor and advise students on their academic and professional goals. Serve as a positive role model and mentor for students, demonstrating effective leadership skills. Collaborate with other faculty members to continuously improve and update the leader development curriculum. Actively participate in department meetings and committees to contribute to the overall success of the program. Maintain open and effective communication with students and colleagues. Continuously seek out opportunities for professional development and growth in the field of I/O psychology and leader development. Serve as a representative of the university and uphold its values and mission. Embody a passion for helping individuals reach their full potential in leadership and inspire students to do the same.
