Automotive Mechanic Technician = Experienced - (2nd Shift ) (Bonus: $4,000 to $6,000 DOE)

Description:

• Perform general to complex repairs on all makes and models, including timing belts, suspension systems, and heavy engine work.
• Diagnose and repair advanced vehicle electrical issues, including work on electric and hybrid vehicles.
• Complete repairs for wheel bearings, axles, and vehicle climate control systems such as ACs and heater cores.
• Conduct light maintenance and other vehicle inspections and reconditioning tasks as needed.
• Work in a production environment to help ensure vehicles are delivered on schedule and in good condition.
• Use state-of-the-art tools and equipment in Carvana’s Inspection Centers.
• Follow safety procedures and use required protective equipment while performing repair work.
• Work mandatory overtime when business needs require it.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of professional automotive repair experience.
• Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.
• Some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment and in weather conditions such as heat or cold.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check.
• This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
• ASE certification or tool reimbursement program participation is available for qualified employees.
• Entry-level and brake/tire technician roles require 6 months or 1 year of professional experience, respectively, for other Carvana technician openings.
