- Design and implement comprehensive biology curricula aligned with educational standards.
- Develop lesson plans that incorporate innovative teaching methods and utilize learning technology to enhance student engagement.
- Prepare students for standardized testing through targeted review sessions and practice assessments.
- Mentor and support students academically and personally, offering tutoring or additional assistance.
Qualifications
NY Area
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology or a related field; Master’s degree or higher preferred.
- Valid teaching certification/license for high school science education.
- Skills in instructional design, curriculum development, standardized testing preparation, tutoring, mentoring, and educational research are beneficial.
