Adult Psychologists Salary Range: Assistant Professor: $111,000 - $139,600 a year; Associate Professor: $135,300 - $168,200 a year; Professor: $188,800 - $250,000 a year The University of Chicago’s Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience is searching for full-time faculty members at any rank for the Adult Psychology program. Appointees will provide assessments and evidence-based interventions for adult patients presenting with psychological disorders. These positions support the evaluation and treatment of adult patients referred for behavioral health concerns, including mood and anxiety disorders, obsessive compulsive and related disorders, trauma and stressor related disorders, and other related conditions including medical conditions. Appointees will maintain an ambulatory clinical practice focused on the evidence-based assessment, diagnosis, and management of psychological disorders in an adult patient population. Other duties will include teaching and supervision of trainees and students, and scholarly activity. Academic rank and compensation are dependent upon qualifications. Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited university-based doctoral program, 2) hold or be eligible for an Illinois license in Clinical Psychology, and 3) have completed an internship at an APA-accredited site.
