Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Processing customer policy change requests: Ensure seamless policy changes and updates for our valued customers.
  • Securing trailing documents: Obtain and verify necessary documents from customers to maintain accurate records.
  • Handling incoming claim calls: Respond promptly to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide exceptional support.
  • Completing Evidence of Insurance requests: Verify and process requests for insurance certificates and other documentation.
  • Taking premium payments: Collect payments from customers in a timely and professional manner.
  • Referral generation: Encourage customers to refer friends and family, and explain our referral program.
  • Customer information updates: Verify and update customer contact information, including phone numbers, addresses, and email addresses.
  • Answering incoming calls: Respond promptly to incoming calls, providing exceptional service and support.
  • Returning phone messages: Ensure timely follow-up on phone messages and customer inquiries.
  • Understanding underwriting, rating, and compliance requirements: Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and requirements.
  • Generating insurance quotes: Provide accurate and timely quotes to customers.
  • Providing exceptional customer service: Deliver outstanding service and support to our valued customers.
  • Building relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and partners.
  • Attending training and continuing education courses: Stay current with industry developments and best practices.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Property & Casualty insurance license: Hold a valid license, or be willing to obtain one.
  • Bilingual skills: Fluency in both English and Spanish is beneficial, but not required.
