Responsibilities

As a Mechanical Customer Service Expert, you will be responsible for:

  • Handling and carefully responding to all customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Providing excellent customer service through active listening, empathy, and a solutions-focused approach
  • Working with confidential customer information and treating it sensitively, adhering to arenaflex's data protection policies
  • Aiming to resolve issues on the first call by being proactive and taking ownership of customer concerns
  • Appropriately communicating with customers through various channels, including phone, email, and chat
  • Calmly attempting to resolve and de-escalate any issues that may arise, using effective conflict resolution techniques
  • Escalating interactions when necessary and appropriate, ensuring that customer concerns are addressed promptly
  • Tracking all call-related information for auditing and reporting purposes, using arenaflex's CRM system
  • Providing feedback on call issues, identifying areas for improvement and suggesting solutions

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Ability to work remotely in a virtual team environment, with a reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace
  • 6 months of customer service experience, preferably in a mechanical or technical field
  • Over 18 years of age, with a valid government-issued ID
  • Ability to type 25 words per minute, with accuracy and speed
  • High School Graduate or GED, with a strong foundation in English and mathematics
  • Comfort with desktop computer systems, including Windows operating systems and arenaflex's CRM software
  • Proven oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical information in a clear and concise manner
  • Logical problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze customer concerns and identify solutions
  • Ability to navigate arenaflex's CRM system, with a strong understanding of data entry and reporting procedures
  • Organization and work prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple customer interactions simultaneously

Nice-to-Haves

While not essential, the following skills and qualifications would be beneficial in this role:

  • Experience working in a mechanical or technical field, with a strong understanding of customer needs and expectations
  • Certification in customer service, such as the Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR) designation
  • Proficiency in multiple languages, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers from diverse backgrounds
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a strong ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
