About the employer We’re partnering with a global manufacturing organization undergoing dynamic growth and investment across multiple production sites. We’re looking for a Logistics Project Specialist who wants to move beyond operational logistics and play a key role in shaping how supply chain processes are designed and implemented. The Role This is a project-driven role with strong exposure to cost ownership and investment decisions . You will be responsible not only for designing logistics solutions, but also for evaluating their financial impact , supporting budgeting processes, and driving cost-efficient project execution.

Responsibilities

  • Designing and optimizing logistics processes across production environments
  • Supporting layout planning and material flow concepts
  • Analyzing and managing logistics-related costs (CAPEX & OPEX)
  • Supporting budgeting and investment decisions for new logistics solutions
  • Evaluating cost efficiency of different scenarios and recommending optimal solutions
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams (engineering, production, procurement)
  • Supporting on-site implementation during key project phases
  • Participating in supplier selection and cost evaluation processes
  • Monitoring KPIs and identifying cost optimization opportunities

What we’re looking for

  • Experience with

cost analysis, budgeting, or investment evaluation in logistics / supply chain “This role combines logistics design with real financial impact – you won’t just plan processes, you’ll influence how money is spent.”

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in logistics / supply chain within a manufacturing environment
  • Exposure to

project-based work (implementations, process improvements, new setups)

  • Strong analytical mindset and ability to work with data
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and advanced Excel skills
  • Fluency in English and ability to work in an international environment
  • Willingness to travel and be present on-site during key project phases

Nice to have

  • Experience with layout planning /

AutoCAD

  • Background in automotive or large-scale industrial projects (e.g., greenfield / expansions)
