Job Summary:

We're seeking an experienced and proactive Chat Support Associate to join our dynamic team. As a Chat Support Associate, you'll be the primary point of contact for our vibrant community of veterinary professionals, providing timely and effective support through live chats, phone calls, emails, internal discussion boards, and platform demos. Your exceptional communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences will make you an invaluable asset to our team.

Key Responsibilities:

* Engage with our community of veterinary professionals through live chats, phone calls, emails, internal discussion boards, and platform demos to provide timely and effective support.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues, improve the user experience, and drive platform growth.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Vetcove platform, its features, and its applications to provide expert support and guidance.
  • Utilize your problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex issues, escalating them to senior support team members when necessary.
  • Work closely with our product development team to gather feedback, identify areas for improvement, and inform product roadmap decisions.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest platform features, industry trends, and best practices.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture by fostering open communication, empathy, and collaboration.

Essential Qualifications:

* 1 year of relevant, customer-facing work experience in a fast-paced environment.

  • 2-year Associate's Degree or 4-year College Degree in a related field (e.g., Communications, Business, or Computer Science).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
  • Experience in chat support or a related customer-facing role is preferred.
  • Patience, compassion, and empathy when handling difficult situations.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Strong desire to learn, grow, and help our customers succeed.
  • Positive attitude, one-for-all team mentality, and excellent collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Tech/start-up work experience is a plus, but not required.

  • Knowledge of intercom and/or experience with other chat platforms is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with veterinary industry trends, practices, and challenges is a bonus.
