Part-time Property Accountant & Treasury Associate
We are seeking a part-time bookkeeping professional with Yardi (Rent Manager a bonus) experience to support day-to-day property accounting, tenant ledger management, bill payment, reconciliations, and basic treasury functions. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across multiple entities and accounting tasks. There is clear opportunity for this position to grow into a full-time role over time.
Responsibilities
- Manage tenant ledgers in Yardi
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Process and pay bills
- Categorize and code expenses accurately
- Perform bank and account reconciliations
- Support cash management and basic treasury tasks
- Assist with month-end close and general bookkeeping cleanup
- Maintain organized records and ensure accounting data is current and accurate
Qualifications
- Experience using Yardi required
- Strong bookkeeping and accounts payable experience
- Familiarity with journal entries and reconciliations
- Ability to navigate tenant ledgers and property accounting workflows
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Self-starter who can work independently
- Clear communication and good judgment
Preferred Experience
- Real estate, property management, or mobile home park accounting experience
- Treasury or cash management experience
- Experience working with outside accountants or CPAs
