Senior Oracle Developer
Job Description:
- Design, develop, and implement complex database structures, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages using Oracle PL/SQL.
- Optimize and tune PL/SQL code for performance.
- Maintain and enhance existing PL/SQL codebase.
- Perform regular database maintenance tasks such as backups, indexing, and data migrations.
- Collaborate with application developers to integrate Oracle databases with front-end JAVA applications via JDBC.
- Develop and implement data integration solutions using SQL*Loader, external tables, and other Oracle tools.
- Provide technical support for database-related issues, including troubleshooting and performance tuning.
- Assist in resolving complex data issues and support end-users.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for database applications.
- Generate reports and queries as needed to support business operations.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Participate in system testing and validation processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience as an Oracle PL/SQL Developer
- Experience with Oracle database administration and performance tuning.
- Experience with Batch Processing
- Experience with Oracle tools and technologies such as SQL*Plus, Oracle SQL Developer, or TOAD.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., GitLab).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Preferred: experience with Java, Python and Snowflake
- Preferred: Oracle Certified Professional
