Job Summary

As an Insurance Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for handling property and casualty (P&C) related customer service and/or billing inquiries and problems via the telephone. You will provide customers with plan coverage information, quotes, policy changes, and policy change impacts to premium. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

* Handle property and casualty (P&C) related customer service and/or billing inquiries and problems via the telephone

  • Provide customers with plan coverage information, quotes, policy changes, and policy change impacts to premium
  • Review and update policies to enhance retention and better meet the needs of the consumer
  • Counsel policyholders concerning appropriate coverage, policy limits, payment options, and state laws that will best meet their needs for sufficient protection against risks covered by Property and Casualty insurance
  • Make appropriate recommendations and/or changes to the policy and gain policyholder acceptance to process the changes
  • Receive and respond to calls and emails received by the insurance service center, documenting all activity in EPIC
  • Utilize knowledge of insurance industry and club insurance agency policies and procedures to provide efficient and professional customer service
  • Identify opportunities to apply discounts, process insurance verification forms for insured, and act as liaison for information exchange between customer and insurance companies
  • Process changes to policies within EPIC and submit changes to specific companies, following up with company to ensure change requests have been processed in a timely manner
  • Review policy information and references company-specific claims procedures to assist insured in filing claims
  • Mail insured documentation to be signed and returned as necessary, following up to ensure documentation has been returned in a timely manner from member/customer
  • Recognize cross-sell opportunities (membership and insurance) and obtain quote information
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What We Need from You

* High school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of increasingly complex customer service experience in an insurance environment

  • Property and Casualty insurance license required
  • Membership license preferred and/or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment

Work Schedule

* Monday - Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. CST with rotating Saturdays with team

  • Saturday hours would be 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
