Join Allstate’s Litigation Services team as a Paralegal Senior Specialist, where your contributions will be essential to delivering strong legal outcomes and exceptional service to our clients. Based in Colorado this remote role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced attorneys on high-impact insurance defense cases involving bodily injury claims. You'll take ownership of the litigation life cycle — from answering complaints and managing discovery, to preparing for arbitration and trial. • *Key Responsibilities
• Manage litigation files from inception through resolution, including trial preparation
• Draft and file pleadings, draft and respond to discovery - including disclosures
• Order and track and analyze medical records and coordinate expert review
• Prepare arbitration and trial materials, including jury instructions when applicable (Trial and trial prep experience)
• Handle e-filing in Colorado Courts
• Monitor case deadlines and ensure timely service and compliance
• Collaborate with attorneys and other paralegals to maintain organized, high-quality case files
• *Education
• Candidates must have at least a certification, such as a 2-year paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program, or
• An equivalent combination of education and 5 years paralegal experience.
• *Minimum Requirements
• 5+ years Experience as a Paralegal with a focus on insurance defense or civil litigation.
• Experience managing high-volume caseloads in a fast-paced legal environment
• Strong knowledge of legal procedures, including pleadings, discovery, motions, and court filings.
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence.
