Job Description:

  • Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis on a variety of case-related matters
  • Draft, review, and revise critical legal documents, including demand letters, pleadings, and court briefs
  • Provide real-time litigation support to the lead attorney during court appearances, pivoting quickly to address emerging needs
  • Participate in daily morning stand-up meetings to align on priorities and case developments
  • Provide critical research and litigation support in a fast-paced environment of active court proceedings
  • Work closely with experienced attorneys on impactful cases

Requirements:

  • A law degree (J.D. or equivalent) or extensive experience as a high-level paralegal
  • Demonstrable experience in legal research, writing, and drafting within the US legal system
  • Proven background in providing co-counsel support and litigation assistance
  • Familiarity with US court procedures and legal documentation standards
  • Exceptional legal research and writing capabilities
  • Ability to manage deadlines effectively in a high-pressure environment
  • Flexible and adaptable mindset, capable of shifting priorities seamlessly
  • Interest in developing a trauma-informed approach (training will be provided)
  • Resilience and capacity to handle dramatic or high-stakes situations
