Job Summary:

We're looking for a highly skilled and empathetic Customer Service Representative to join our arenaflex team. As a Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy representative, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional phone support to patients receiving life-saving specialty medication treatment. You'll be the primary point of contact for patients, handling new prescription requests and reorders, verifying and renewing benefits, and assisting with deciphering and entering new or reorder medications into our pharmacy data system.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide exceptional phone support to patients receiving specialty medication treatment, ensuring timely and accurate handling of new prescription requests and reorders

  • Verify and renew patient benefits, ensuring seamless access to medication
  • Assist patients with deciphering and entering new or reorder medications into our pharmacy data system
  • Communicate with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to resolve and process orders with complex issues or sales records
  • Collaborate with patients, insurance companies, and internal partners to ensure timely and accurate handling of specialty medications
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements

Essential Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution

  • One year of experience in a customer service role, handling and resolving a high volume of complex customer needs via telephone
  • One year of experience working with Windows-based applications, including Windows, Microsoft Office, web navigation, and email applications
  • One year of PC keyboarding experience, skills, and proficiency

Preferred Qualifications:

* Healthcare work experience and knowledge of benefits, insurance, medications, and clinical terminology

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on patient-centered care

Skills and Competencies:

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients, insurance companies, and internal partners

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues and navigate multiple systems
  • Proficiency in Windows-based applications, including Windows, Microsoft Office, web navigation, and email applications
  • Ability to work in a high-speed environment, with a focus on patient-centered care and empathy
