ABA Therapist for a 12 y/o BOY (Any day after 4:30)
About the position BehaviorCare Therapy is seeking Paraprofessionals to provide 1-on-1 ABA therapy to children with autism or developmental delays in their homes. This role focuses on helping children build daily living skills, communication, independence, and confidence through play-based ABA techniques designed by a licensed BCBA. You will work consistently with the same children in their everyday environments, making a meaningful impact. This is a hands-on, high-impact role that offers flexible part-time hours, ideal for supplementing income or fitting around a school schedule.
Responsibilities
- Work one-on-one with children in their homes to help them learn and grow using play-based ABA techniques.
- Follow simple step-by-step treatment plans made by your supervisor (BCBA).
- Track progress during each session using an easy data system on your phone or tablet.
- Collaborate with your BCBA and fellow techs to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
- Provide feedback to families about session progress and celebrate achievements.
Requirements
- Experience working with children (SPED Para, 1:1 Aide or Classroom Aide, after-school programs, caregiving, autism).
- Afternoon/evening availability.
- Reliable transportation.
- Must pass a background check.
