Overview and Responsibilities: The Paramount+ Live & Video team is looking for a versatile and highly motivated Product Manager with strong data and analytics skills to join our team. In this role, you will shape our Live Sports experience and work closely with all necessary teams to ensure a smooth and reliable rollout of experiences across our properties. This role reports to the Product Lead on Live & Video for Sports and collaborates closely with stakeholders, designers, and engineers to build best‑in‑class streaming apps, prioritize requirements based on business goals and KPIs, and deliver exceptional consumer experiences across platforms and sports properties.

Responsibilities

Include:

  • Support the product roadmap and strategy and be a SME for Live Sports
  • Evolve and maintain homes for sports leagues and ensure consistency across all platforms
  • Draft requirements to enable feature innovation across Live TV, search, and discovery
  • Clearly define feature requirements and business logic for agile scrum teams, CMS and API teams, and design partners
  • Set KPI-driven priorities and use data to understand customer habits and needs
  • Align stakeholders (marketing, operations, data tracking, etc.) on delivery scope for sports events and leagues
  • Support strategic discussions on the future direction of the Paramount+ product and user experience
  • Manage cross-functional relationships and navigate competing priorities
  • Drive testing and UAT for feature and league rollouts across all sports leagues
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Capability to develop product strategies and communicate recommendations to management
  • Help foresee and resolve issues that affect development timelines
  • Help teams get unblocked on issues (QA, live testing, etc.)

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in product management or related field
  • Experience leading projects/initiatives and managing cross-functional stakeholders
  • Experience drafting detailed product requirements (user stories, PRDs)
  • Experience working with agile scrum methodologies and engineering teams
  • Ability to assess market trends and bring innovative thinking
  • General interest in sports

Bonus Skills

  • Experience working in Live Sports or Live Streaming
  • Experience with video metadata and live schedule data
  • Bachelor's degree in business, technology, computer science, media, or related field preferred
  • Experience using agile methodologies
  • Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence
  • Ability to analyze data and communicate insights to stakeholders and development teams
  • Ability to develop product strategies and communicate recommendations to management
  • Creative problem-solving skills, including ability to articulate technical solutions
  • Experience with design tools such as Figma

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
