Job Duties and Responsibilities

As a Remote Data Entry / Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Processing documents electronically with high accuracy and efficiency
  • Making outbound calls to doctor's offices, as volume permits, to ensure seamless communication
  • Processing claims in a timely and accurate manner
  • Receiving, processing, and ensuring document classification is completed and transmitted to clients
  • Receiving documents from both electronic and hard copy forms for processing
  • Sorting, imaging, and archiving documents, files, and records by form type
  • Identifying documents and their purpose, creating a database of information
  • Classifying documents based on contract requirements
  • Verifying data from automated data extraction tools
  • Ensuring transmission of processed data to the appropriate next level

Position Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalency
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Teams, and other relevant software
  • A secure workspace with high-speed internet
  • The ability to pass a typing test with a minimum speed of 40 wpm
  • The ability to sit for long periods and work overtime if needed
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong data entry skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays if required

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

  • A competitive salary range of $46,600.00 - $63,250.00 per year
