With a strong presence globally, we've been driving the aircraft business in functional greatness while maintaining our standing for grant-winning client care. Our Data Science and Business Intelligence team is responsible for building models to support various capabilities across the airline, including Revenue Management, Freight, Client Experience, and Tech Operations.

Key Responsibilities

As a Full Stack Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for:

• Questioning carrier data from various sources and performing exploratory data analysis
• Composing Python scripts and building models to predict behaviors and suggest carrier activities
• Working independently, but being anxious to seek guidance and clarification on pressing issues
• Collaborating with the Data Science and Business Intelligence team to develop and implement data-driven solutions
• Presenting your work to the Data Science and Business Intelligence team and business leaders at the end of the summer internship

What You Need to Succeed

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A 3.0 GPA or higher and have completed at least 2 years in a school program
• A degree emphasis in Information Science, Data Analysis/Operations Research, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• The ability to focus on working the entire 13-week summer internship program (May 13 - August 9, 2024)
• Work from the Atlanta or MSP office (as determined after the interview)
• Python and SQL knowledge and skills
• Strong logical, leadership, written, and verbal communication skills
• Embracing diverse individuals, thinking, and styles
• A focus on health and safety, of self and others, as a priority
• An interest in handling complex problems and contributing to overcoming barriers and learning from mistakes
• A willingness to work as a full-time employee after graduation, if a proposal is extended

• The ability to process large amounts of data and compactly make sense of what can be gained from the data and how it can support independent decision-making
• A willingness to learn management strategies and best practices in critical thinking and compromise to empower advancement and progress on hard-to-settle difficulties of our clients
• Experience with AWS
• Experience creating AI models
• Additional accepted procedures
