The Position Join a dynamic and collaborative team as a Risk Management Analyst II supporting enterprise-wide insurance and risk management initiatives. This fully remote contract opportunity is ideal for professionals with experience in risk management processes, insurance compliance, contract review, and claims management. In this role, you will assist with analyzing organizational risks, supporting insurance program operations, and helping business stakeholders make informed risk transfer and retention decisions. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical and facilitation skills, knowledge of insurance and accounting principles, and the ability to independently manage complex risk-related matters in a fast-paced business environment. Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support the administration and analysis of corporate insurance and risk management programs
  • Track and report risk-related data to support risk transfer and retention decision-making
  • Review contracts for insurance requirements and compliance standards
  • Assist with claims management, insurance recovery, and coverage placement activities
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify, assess, and address complex business risks
  • Prepare reports and documentation related to insurance compliance and risk assessments
  • Support the development of methodologies and processes for enterprise risk evaluation

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • No immediate direct reports

Skills & Qualifications

  • Understanding of risk management processes and insurance program administration
  • Experience with coverage placement, contract review, insurance compliance, and claims management
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to independently manage complex risk-related issues and stakeholder concerns
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reporting/documentation processes
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent relevant experience

Preferred Experience

  • Professional certifications such as CRM, ARM, CPCU, or RIMS-CRMP
  • Knowledge of accounting and insurance principles
  • Experience supporting enterprise or corporate risk management functions
  • Familiarity with insurance recovery processes and policy interpretation
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a remote and flexible work environment
  • Experience developing risk assessment methodologies and reporting frameworks

Work Environment

  • Remote Part-time position (10 hours per week)
  • This is a 7-month contract

Compensation

  • Position offers an hourly W2 Rate between $35 - $40, with additional benefits

Requirements

  • Because this client is a Federal Government Contractor performing services for the DoD, US Air Force, NASA and others, they do require US, Non-Dual Citizenship

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • Professional certification(s) in risk or insurance such as CRM, ARM, CPCU, RIMS-CRMP
