Job Summary

We're looking for an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. As a key member of our customer support team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, handling inbound telephone calls, and resolving Tier 1 level issues. Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Handling a high volume of incoming phone calls, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving Tier 1 level issues
  • Reviewing taxpayer status and history, verifying, gathering, and updating key information details
  • Educating taxpayers on current tax policies, submitting requests for payment arrangements, and determining next steps to resolution
  • Documenting actions taken into multiple business systems
  • Assisting taxpayers to navigate the AZ Taxes website and current self-servicing options
  • Preparing and submitting electronic support requests according to department standard procedures
  • Escalating Tier 1 issues to Tier 2 Subject Matter Experts when necessary

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in a call center environment
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple calls and tasks simultaneously
  • Strong typing skills and basic computer skills
  • Proficiency in CRM software and basic software skills
  • Ability to adapt to change and follow up on customer issues
  • Empathy, active listening, and telephone etiquette skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Preferred Qualifications

* Certified Financial Service Auditor (CFSA) certification

  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Basic knowledge of ERP systems
  • Industry representative experience
  • Call center support experience
  • Customer support experience
  • EMR and EHR/Epic experience
