Job Description

As a Part-Time Remote Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients and members. Your primary duties will include:

  • Answering phone calls in a timely manner and providing accurate and timely handling of client and member calls
  • Providing excellent customer service, resolving issues, and addressing concerns
  • Answering client and provider questions, including claims payment, status, and coverage information
  • Interpreting client health plan protocol and reviewing claims status
  • Maintaining accurate and complete call documentation
  • Maintaining high levels of professionalism and courtesy while interacting with clients and members
  • Returning incoming calls and responding to emails and other communication channels
  • Performing other duties as assigned by management

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and complete call documentation
  • Return incoming calls and respond to emails and other communication channels
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a high-volume healthcare call center
  • Knowledge of healthcare claims review and health insurance background
  • Experience with BCBS HMOI or other insurance plans is a plus
  • Proficiency in using multiple systems, including Teams and Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Availability to work part-time hours, with a minimum of 4-5 hours per shift, between 8am and 6pm Central Time Zone

Preferred Qualifications

* HMO Managed care Medicare Advantage experience

  • Experience with multiple customer service channels, including chat, text, and virtual assistant

Compensation and Benefits

* Competitive hourly rate, paid bi-weekly, with a base pay range of $19.00 to $20.00 per hour

Work Environment and Culture

As a remote employee, you'll have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home. arenaflex provides new employees with the necessary equipment to function in their role at no charge to the employee. Employees are responsible for providing their own internet connection, capable of conducting video calls on camera and connecting to various internal and external systems.
