Experienced Full Stack Software Engineer – Customer Solutions and Community Development

We're looking for a highly skilled and passionate Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team in the Americas. As a generalist, you'll work on a wide range of projects, from complex JavaScript features implemented in Ember.js to Ruby on Rails API server development. You'll also contribute to open-source frameworks, gems, and libraries, and collaborate with our hosting infrastructure team to improve our services and resolve customer issues.
About the Job
As a Software Engineer at arenaflex, you'll have the opportunity to work on diverse projects, from client-specific implementations and migrations to contributing to our open-source product. You'll be part of a dynamic team that values collaboration, innovation, and customer satisfaction. Our work environment is flexible, with a completely flexible schedule, 5 weeks of vacation per year, and a co-working stipend.
Responsibilities
* Communicate daily with clients to agree on work priorities and implement client features
- Discuss and decide with internal teams whether features are appropriate in core or in client plugins
- Maintain client-specific features against latest core versions
- Highlight new critical core features to high-profile clients
- Schedule and deploy patches and upgrades
- Collaborate with our hosting infrastructure team to improve our services and resolve customer issues
Requirements
* Some experience with Ruby and JavaScript
- Passion for open-source development and comfortable with public code reviews
- Ability to implement processes, technologies, and solutions for a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to write clearly and effectively
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and organized
- Able to make decisions quickly and communicate effectively
- Work well independently and remotely
