Business Analyst Manager

Position Title Business Analyst Manager Location Remote (In the U.S) Other Considerations U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (Required) This position is contingent upon contract award. Position Summary The Business Analyst Manager will be responsible for leading complex projects and initiatives aimed at driving business growth and efficiency within a strategic program at the Department of Veterans Affairs that has the potential to impact over millions of veteran users. You should be a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of business processes, data analysis, and technology solutions. The Business Analyst Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business needs, user requirements and mission objectives to develop solutions, and ensure successful technical and process implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage business analysis projects from inception to completion
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and requirements
  • Develop and document business processes and workflows
  • Analyze data and identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement
  • Recommend and implement technology solutions to meet business objectives
  • Conduct user acceptance testing and ensure successful implementation of solutions
  • Provide training and support to end users
  • Lead, mentor and develop a team to establish BA standards, templates, and best practice aligned with VA governance frameworks

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business management, Information Technology, or relevant degree (Bachelor's degree can be substituted with 8 years of additional relevant experience)
  • 7 Years of Experience in a similar role.
  • Proven track record of leading and managing complex projects
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software
  • Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus
  • Proficient experience in data analysis
  • Adaptable to changing business needs and priorities
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and learning practices across BA functions and program teams desired

WORKING CONDITIONS Standard Business hours are Monday through Friday. Occasional extended or weekend hours may be required based on operational needs. Must have reliable internet service that allows for effective telecommuting.
