Business Analyst (Banking)

Remote · USA Full-time New today

About the position Looking for your next challenge as a Business Analyst? At B3, we start with people and their experience. We match projects to your skills and professional growth path. Our consultants work across a wide range of industries and technologies, delivering IT projects both in Poland and internationally. This allows you to build your career in a deliberate way - not by chance. We are part of an international organization listed on Nasdaq Stockholm, operating in 11 countries. In Poland, we operate with full autonomy. We choose our technologies, processes, and ways of working while maintaining the highest professional standards. Join us today.

Responsibilities

  • Regulatory and functional requirements analysis - Identifying business needs, defining and specifying functional and non-functional requirements within Mandatory and Efficiency projects in the retail banking segment
  • Analytical documentation and process modelling - Creating analytical and design documentation using internal templates, modelling processes in BPMN 2.0 and UML, verifying key project documents for consistency and completeness
  • Cross-team collaboration and business facilitation - Independently organising and leading meetings with business stakeholders, working closely with solution architects, system analysts and external vendors to deliver end-to-end process flows

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst (not a System Analyst) in a bank, with active participation in system implementation projects
  • Cross-functional knowledge of banking products (retail segment); experience in backoffice and regulatory projects is a strong advantage
  • Solid knowledge of BPMN 2.0 (UML) process modelling techniques and tools: JIRA, Confluence, Enterprise Architect (advanced modelling level required)
  • Strong analytical and process-oriented thinking - ability to see end-to-end flows, not just individual requirements; proactive attitude, communication skills and ability to take initiative (passive candidates are not a fit)
  • Willingness to visit office in Wrocław (1x per week in the office, 2x per month after implementation period)
  • English proficiency (written and spoken); higher education in technology, economics or finance
  • Ability to perform work in Poland (citizenship, residence permit, visa, etc.)

Nice-to-haves

  • Willingness to work in a backoffice / regulatory environment (candidates focused on mobile or e-banking projects may find the scope less appealing)

Benefits

  • Work in a Scandinavian culture built on logic, trust, and open dialogue.
  • Health and sports benefits tailored to your needs.
  • Speed Coaching – short sessions designed to provide new perspectives and solutions.
  • Sports training, an internal team, and opportunities to take part in competitions.
