Our mission is to help make the world a safer place with leading investigative analytics software solutions. We are currently looking for a Pre-Sales Engineer (Remote) to our team in North América. As a Pre-Sales Engineer, you will lead pre-sales activities in North America, including customer engagements, product demonstrations, RFP/RFI responses, technical evaluations, and Proof of Concept (POC) projects. You will collaborate with Account Executives and Product Management to drive new business and position the product as a critical tool for law enforcement and national security agencies. As a Cognyter, you will: Lead the pre-sales activities across North America, including customer engagements, technical presentations, and POCs. Partner with Account Executives as a subject matter expert in data analytics and product`s capabilities. Develop compelling product demonstrations. Conduct product presentations and POCs for prospects, customers, and partners—virtually and in person. Lead RFI/RFP responses, including requirements mapping, solution design, technical Q&A, and solution sizing. Communicate product’s technical capabilities and collaborate with engineering, marketing, product, and senior leadership as needed.

Requirements

For This Mission, You Will Need Proven experience in a pre sales or sales engineering role, leading technical sales processes and customer engagements. Hands on experience working for companies in the same or closely related industry, selling software solutions to Law Enforcement, Government, or National Security customers. Strong understanding of public sector sales cycles, procurement processes, and customer expectations in regulated environments. Two to four years of pre sales experience. Analyst experience in Law Enforcement or National Security organizations is a strong advantage. Strong technical background, including experience with solution architectures and enterprise software deployments. Experience working with Linux environments, including command line usage and file system management. Good understanding of cloud architectures, including compute, storage, and networking. Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is an advantage. Familiarity with common sales techniques and tools. Bachelor’s degree or higher. Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating with a distributed global team. Fluent English. Additional languages are an advantage. Ability to maintain a home office with a stable internet connection. Willingness to travel up to forty percent. US citizenship is required. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary based on various factors including but not limited to work location, skills, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Cognyte’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include commission and short and long-term incentives.
