Junior Sports Marketing and Public Relations Specialist
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented sports marketing and public relations specialist to support our prospecting and partner management efforts in the APAC region, specifically covering Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore. What You'll Do
Media Relations: Represent the global corporate communications team; assist in preparing press releases, media pitches, and briefing materials; update and maintain media contact databases; and support media outreach efforts. Content Creation: Contribute to the development of localized content for press materials, blogs, newsletters, and social media platforms. Event Coordination: Assist in organizing and promoting events, such as press conferences, media roundtables, product launches, and partner activities. Market Research: Monitor industry trends, media coverage, and competitor activity, providing insights and recommendations for PR strategies. Reporting: Track and compile media coverage, event success metrics, and campaign results for internal reporting. Sports Marketing: Be the main point of contact in the region for the sports teams partnered with Acronis. Conduct regular meetings and ensure efficient and timely utilization of contractual sports marketing rights. Acronis #TeamUp Program: Collaborate with the Acronis #TeamUp partners to develop working relationships with their sports partners. Sports Communications: Ensure timely and effective launch of new sporst partnerships working in close collaboration with the Acronis and the sports team’s communications and marketing teams. Sports Activation: Manage sports activations, event attendance, and distribution of sports tickets among Acronis and #TeamUp partners. What You Bring Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field. Exceptional attention to detail. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Familiarity with media monitoring tools and social media platforms. Proactive attitude, creativity, and a willingness to learn. Prior internship or experience in PR, marketing, or communications is a plus. Proficiency in AI tool for content generation and data processing. AI Augmentation Public Relations requires real-time relationship building, crisis handling, media engagement, and strategic communication, all of which depend on human interaction, local market insight, and professional credibility beyond AI capabilities.
