Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage general tort cases from intake through discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial.
- Draft pleadings, discovery demands, motions, and settlement demands.
- Conduct depositions and prepare for mediations and court appearances.
- Analyze liability, damages, and coverage issues while negotiating resolutions.
Core Requirements (Flexibility for Exceptional Candidates):
- JD and active New York bar.
- 2–6+ years of tort or civil litigation experience (plaintiff or defense).
- Strong litigation, writing, and client skills.
