Position: Data Entry Specialist at MCKEE NIX AND ASSOCIATES, INC This is a remote position. McKee-Nix & Associates is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to join our team in a fully remote capacity.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter, update, and maintain data in company databases from a remote workstation.
- Review documents and submissions to ensure completeness, correctness, and compliance with company standards.
- Perform regular quality checks to identify errors or inconsistencies and make corrections as needed.
- Collaborate with internal teams via remote communication tools to resolve discrepancies and clarify data requirements.
- Generate reports, summaries, and datasets to support business operations, analytics, and decision‑making.
- Organize and maintain digital records and ensure proper storage for easy access and retrieval.
- Track and document completed work, maintaining logs of data entries, updates, and corrections.
- Follow company procedures, workflows, and best practices to ensure data integrity across remote operations.
- Assist with special projects and data migration tasks in remote work settings.
- Participate in virtual training sessions and meetings to stay updated on software, processes, and system changes.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher preferred.
- Proven experience in data entry, administrative support, or similar roles, preferably in a remote setting.
- Strong typing skills (55+ WPM) with high accuracy.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, and data management software.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple tasks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with team members via remote collaboration platforms.
- Reliable internet connection and a suitable remote workspace free from distractions.
- Familiarity with document handling, workflow management, and quality control procedures.
