Repair Centre Engineer E1

They are seeking a Repair Centre Engineer to professionally repair a variety of hardware and peripherals, ensuring compliance with company policies and maintaining high standards of repair quality.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair devices such as but not limited to, PC’s, Laptops, Printers, retail equipment etc
- Ability to repair devices at component level
- Capable of supporting other departments as and when required
- Update relevant business systems to the required standards and in line with agreed processes
- Be compliant with management system policies, company policies & guidelines and take responsibility for health & safety in the workplace
- To be approachable and accepting of Training requirements in relation to the role and operation
- To maintain the skills and knowledge required within the team to perform the role to the required standard
- Ability to handle equipment of varying weights and sizes, in line with manual handling guidelines and training provided
- Must be able to embrace new technologies and adapt to change
- To undertake Health and Safety activities commensurate with post and or SCC Group Health and Safety Policy
- To assist the Management teams in the daily running of the operation, through the above and any other duties as necessary
Skills
- Security clearance or willingness to apply will be required for this role
- Experience in electronics repair or technical maintenance environment
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and repair techniques
- Accreditations to repair Tier1 Product repairs e.g. HP/Lenovo & Dell
- Ability to identify and resolve faults using standard diagnostic tools
- Careful and precise handling of equipment to ensure high quality repairs
- Ability to repair devices at component level
- Capable of supporting other departments as and when required
- Update relevant business systems to the required standards and in line with agreed processes
- Be compliant with management system policies, company policies & guidelines and take responsibility for health & safety in the workplace
