Systems Integration Engineer I

The Systems Integration Engineer I will be responsible for vehicle integration validation, including testing and documenting issues related to connectivity, telematics, and HVAC systems, while collaborating with multiple teams to ensure successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Perform vehicle integration validation for Connectivity/Telematics, HVAC, body controlled exterior lighting feature content
  • Write and execute test cases and report on issues found during vehicle integration workshops
  • Document issues in JIRA and track them along with design counterparts through closure
  • Participate in ongoing continuous improvement activities within the vehicle integration test department
  • Perform troubleshooting activities during vehicle preparation phase to ensure our test platforms are ready for validation
  • Develop test scripts utilizing ECU Test to automate feature validation and align with the Hardware in Loop team

Skills

  • BS/BA in Mechatronics, Control Systems, Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic Engineering
  • Ability to obtain a Commercial Driver's License
  • Ability to understand control systems and apply to vehicle
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks on hand
  • Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prepare presentations and reports
  • 1-2 years of previous engineering experience
  • Experience with test automation tools
  • Experience with CAN based toolsets such as CANalyzer or CANoe
  • Vehicle validation experience and knowledge of automotive systems
