Associate, New Verticals - International Efficiency Strategy & Operations

DoorDash is a technology and logistics company focused on empowering local economies. They are seeking two Associates to support their New Verticals Strategy & Operations team, responsible for improving operational efficiencies and leading initiatives across the US and Canadian businesses.

Responsibilities

• Identifying, leading, and prioritizing initiatives to improve our operating rhythms across New Verticals, impacting both the US and Canadian businesses
• Leading short term execution, strategizing long term plans and implementing product features that may optimize the dasher’s performance through improving quality & efficiency, improve costs and how we manage towards our bottom-line goals, enhance our catalog quality around completeness & discoverability
• Partnering with other strategy & operations teams, enterprise partner managers, product, engineering, analytics and internal other stakeholders
• Improving scalable processes, enhancing data quality, catalog health, efficiency metrics and so much more
• Transforming strategies into operational experiments that create measurable and actionable outcomes, informing larger initiative implementation plans
• Analyzing operational data rooted in quality, cost and efficiency metrics to inform strategy, assessing the operational and financial impacts of decisions, and iterating based on data

Skills

• You have 1-2+ years experience in consulting, finance or related strategy and operations
• You have a completed Bachelor's Degree
• You are a self-starter – You have a bias for action and are able to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
• You are a problem solver – You have a talent for synthesizing complex problems, can translate high-level goals into actionable plans, and enjoy implementing a process
• You are analytical – You use data to inform tough decisions, and are comfortable operating at both the 10,000 foot level and at the 10 inch level
• You are comfortable in tools like Excel, SQL and more!
• You are becoming AI native. You are working to gain experience with AI tools such as Claude Code and Cursor to accelerate problem-solving, analysis, or workflow execution
