[Remote] International Rate Specialist

BCD Travel is a global leader in business travel management, and they are seeking an International Rate Specialist to coordinate staffing levels and resource availability. The role involves preparing proposals, monitoring results, and providing consultation to enhance service levels.
Responsibilities
- Prepare proposals, presentations, and cost benefit analyses for recommendations
- Monitor results versus expectations and manage expectations
- Share knowledge, explain options, and bring experts to provide guidance
- Discover opportunities to provide value add through consultation
- Provide “what-if” analysis and recommendations regarding impacts on service levels
- Maintain time tracking and other administrative requirements
Skills
- Experience functioning in high volume situations
- Demonstrated competency in MS Excel
- Excellent time-management and organization skills
- Knowledge of GDS Sabre
