Clinical Research Financial Specialist
Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center is a health research organization focused on cancer treatment and prevention. The Clinical Research Financial Specialist manages the cash flow of clinical study accounts, collects funds based on patient activity, and assists grant managers with financial applications.
Responsibilities
- Manages the cash flow of a clinical study account from date of activation to date of closure
- Collects funds based on patient activity
- Manages payables as internal charges are incurred
- Assists grant managers with the application of funds
Skills
- Bachelor's degree and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time experience in health care cost accounting, budgeting, financial analysis and financial systems
- Associate's degree and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time experience in health care cost accounting, budgeting, financial analysis and financial systems
- High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of five (5) years of full-time experience in health care cost accounting, budgeting, financial analysis and financial systems
- Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices
