Billing & Finance Specialist
Blackwater is a woman-owned environmental and planning firm that is seeking a skilled and motivated Billing & Finance Specialist to support their invoicing, payroll, and account tracking efforts. The role involves leading monthly client billing, managing account tracking, and assisting with contract management and budget tracking.
Responsibilities
- Lead monthly client billing and company payroll/expense efforts to ensure completeness and accuracy
- Manage company account tracking including accounts receivables, aging reports, billability, operating expenses, and revenue tracking
- Assist COO with contract management and budget tracking
Skills
- At least one year of practical, work-related billing, invoicing, or accounting experience
- Associates degree, with bachelor's degree preferred
- Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to work independently; must be proficient in multitasking
- Strong communication skills and ability to effectively collaborate in a team environment
- Demonstrated proficiency in math and accounting
- Proficiency in MS Office 365 required including Excel, Word, and SharePoint
- Previous experience in billing or accounting services
- Experience in government contracting in the A/E industry
