New Client Coordinator

The Illinois Hammer Injury Law Firm specializes in personal injury law and is seeking a highly motivated New Client Coordinator to join their dynamic team. The role involves being the first point of contact for individuals seeking legal representation, gathering essential information from potential clients, evaluating their cases, and ensuring they receive the necessary assistance to begin their legal process.

Responsibilities

• Client Interaction: Answer phone calls and respond to emails from potential clients promptly and professionally, demonstrating empathy and understanding while discussing sensitive personal injury and workers compensation matters
• Case Evaluation: Conduct initial consultations to gather information about the potential client's case. Assess the viability of the potential case by evaluating the facts and circumstances surrounding the injury or accident. Collaborate with attorneys to determine the merit of claims
• Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized records of client interactions, case details, and relevant documents. Complete intake forms and paperwork required for new clients, ensuring all client data is confidential and handled in compliance with legal and ethical standards
• Client Support: Provide information to potential clients about the legal process and the services offered by the firm. Offer guidance and resources to potential clients regarding medical treatment and documentation
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with attorneys and legal staff to streamline the intake process and maintain open communication. Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on procedures and changes

Skills

• Excellent verbal communication skills and a strong sense of empathy
• Bilingual Spanish/English required
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Sales experience is a plus
• Experience with Salesforce is a plus
• Prior law firm experience is preferred
• Additional education or certifications are a plus
