[Remote] Business Development Representative (Mississuga, Remote)

RhythmQ is a rapidly growing company that has expanded over 5x in the last three years, and they are seeking a Business Development Representative to join their sales team. The role focuses on generating qualified prospects through inbound leads and outbound lead generation, ultimately connecting prospects with an Account Executive to drive sales.

Responsibilities

  • Be hyper-responsive to inbound leads generated through the website, social media or advertising
  • Qualify prospects to see if we’re a good fit and if they’re ready to take the next step in the sales process
  • Manage and nurture leads until they are ready to be connected with an AE
  • Research and identify potential customers
  • Connect with prospects by cold calling or cold emailing
  • Qualify prospects to see if we’re a good fit and if they’re ready to take the next step in the sales process
  • Nurture leads and build rapport by offering insights and resources that support them during their buying journey
  • Write and adapt email scripts and sequences
  • Brainstorm and execute new strategies to attract our target market
  • Keep up to date on trends and news from the industry, our competitors, and our target market
  • Spend time with the AE to learn and improve selling techniques
  • Maintain the client database to make sure the sales team can access current information on all leads

Skills

  • Currently reside in Canada
  • Ability to respond hyper-responsively to inbound leads
  • Experience in qualifying prospects
  • Experience in managing and nurturing leads
  • Experience in researching and identifying potential customers
  • Experience in cold calling and cold emailing
  • Ability to build rapport with prospects
  • Ability to write and adapt email scripts and sequences
  • Ability to brainstorm and execute new strategies
  • Ability to keep up to date on industry trends and news
  • Experience in maintaining a client database
  • Willingness to learn and improve selling techniques
