They are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive business growth by building strong relationships, identifying new leads, and promoting their services to prospective clients.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new lead sources to drive business growth
  • Follow up on existing leads and prospects to nurture relationships
  • Engage with prospective clients daily via phone, email, text, and in person
  • Provide prompt and effective follow-up on all inquiries and lead communications
  • Collect and document relevant information from prospective clients
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client data within the company’s CRM system
  • Evaluate accounts receivable and aging data to recommend suitable factoring options when applicable
  • Maintain a competitive advantage throughout the sales process
  • Negotiate pricing in accordance with company guidelines
  • Work closely with sales management to adjust pricing and programs to close deals
  • Prepare, send, and manage Factoring Services Agreements (FSAs) with potential clients
  • Address any questions regarding pricing, services, and contract terms
  • Collect, verify, and securely store required documentation from prospective clients
  • Assess the company’s potential for winning new transactions
  • Submit signed FSAs and initial invoices to the Documentation and Compliance team
  • Track all sales opportunities through the CRM system from start to finish
  • Develop a deep understanding of the company’s products and services, ensuring accurate information is provided to clients and referral sources
  • Assist with client inquiries and address their needs as they arise
  • Stay current on industry trends, including trucking industry updates, competitor activities, and evolving sales techniques

Skills

  • Associate degree required, or equivalent combination of skills and experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of direct sales experience, or a bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Exceptional Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to build rapport and maintain positive customer relationships
  • Proven Relationship-Building: Skilled at establishing trust and rapport with clients, particularly over the phone
  • Results-Driven: Demonstrated drive to meet and exceed monthly sales targets in a performance-based environment
