Position Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic, customer‑focused individuals to join our Customer Experience team as Customer Service Agents. This is a full‑time, inbound‑phone role that starts with an intensive on‑site training academy and transitions into a flexible hybrid work model. You will be the first point of contact for our customers, helping them navigate product selections, resolve order issues, and find solutions that keep their businesses moving forward.

  • Shift: 8:30 am – 5:00 pm Central Time, Monday‑Friday (weekends off)
  • Hybrid schedule after training: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote (flexible)
  • Competitive hourly wage beginning at $15.80 with three automatic raises to $17.00 within the first 12 months

Core Responsibilities

  • Build lasting customer relationships by handling a high volume of inbound phone calls with professionalism and empathy.
  • Collaborate daily with sales teams, product specialists, and logistics partners to deliver seamless service experiences.
  • Utilize multiple software platforms simultaneously, navigating order entry, inventory lookup, and CRM tools while maintaining accuracy.
  • Diagnose and resolve customer challenges ranging from product identification and order placement to complex billing and pricing discrepancies.

Essential Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted).
  • Minimum of 1 year of proven customer service experience, preferably in a call‑center or inbound‑phone environment.
  • Reliable commute to the Waterloo, IA facility for the initial 8‑week on‑site training program.
  • Dedicated, secure home workspace that meets arenaflex’s security standards.
  • Proficiency with multiple PC‑based applications; ability to switch between programs without loss of focus.
  • Stable high‑speed internet (minimum 5 Mbps upload, 15 Mbps download) and a ping under 80 ms; proof of speed required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Zendesk, or similar.
  • Prior exposure to inventory management or supply‑chain concepts.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed performance metrics (e.g., average handle time, first‑call resolution).

Compensation & Benefits

Base Pay: Starting at $15.80 per hour, with scheduled raises that bring you to $17.00 per hour within the first year.
