This a Full Remote job, the offer is available from: New Jersey (USA) Job Title: Sr. PHP Developer Job Location: Remote (EST or CST) Contract Key Technology: PHP, SQL, CodeIgniter MVC framework, Linux Job Responsibilities:
- Full life-cycle application development efforts
- Participate in development team stand-ups and scrums to meet aggressive deadlines
- Design, code and debug software
- Perform software analysis, risk analysis, reliability analysis
- Participate in software modeling and simulation
- Integrate new software solutions with existing systems
- Extract and reverse engineer existing code
- Work alongside and collaborate with engineering teams to develop new ideas into demo-able products, features, services, and tools utilizing the latest software development stacks and related technologies
- Explore and innovate new technologies, features, and tools
- Have an open-minded approach to development strategy and approaches
- Actively look for ways to make everything better
Skills and Experience Required: Required:
- 5+ years of experience in IT
- PHP development proficiency
- Experience with CodeIgniter MVC framework
- Knowledge of basic Linux commands
- Agile/Scrum experience
- SQL database expertise
- Relational database experience
- Experience coordinating with offshore teams
Desired:
- Experience in GIT, Azure DevOps
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
- Experience in API integration
