DevOps Engineer (Remote)
DevOps Engineer Location: Fully Remote (LATAM or North America) Start Date: ASAP Language: Fluent English required Type: Full-time (1099/Contractor), Remote About the Opportunity Pragmatike is partnering with a fast-growing technology company to hire an experienced DevOps Engineer. This is an opportunity to join a highly technical engineering team building and operating modern cloud-native infrastructure at scale. You'll work on automation, platform reliability, observability, and deployment systems that support mission-critical applications used globally. We're looking for someone who thrives in fast-moving startup environments, enjoys solving complex infrastructure challenges, and takes ownership of systems from design through production operations.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure across production environments.
- Improve platform reliability, scalability, security, and performance.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Manage Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, logging, and observability best practices.
- Collaborate closely with software engineers to improve developer experience and platform efficiency.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
- Drive incident response, root cause analysis, and operational excellence initiatives.
- Contribute to security, compliance, and disaster recovery processes.
- Support a culture of continuous improvement, automation, and engineering excellence.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering roles.
- Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong scripting or programming skills (Python, Go, Bash, or similar).
- Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
- Strong understanding of networking, Linux systems, and cloud security principles.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fully remote environment.

- Experience with distributed systems and large-scale production environments.
- Security, compliance, or infrastructure governance experience.
- Previous startup or scale-up experience.
